Our Mission

The Libyan Association of NSW was established in 2023 to cater to the needs of the Libyan community residing in New South Wales, Australia.

Our main objective is to preserve our rich cultural heritage and promote social cohesion amongst our members. Over the years, we have organised various cultural events, language preservation initiatives and educational programs to foster a sense of belonging and support for new arrivals.

We are proud to have created a welcoming and inclusive environment that celebrates our Libyan identity while embracing the diversity of our community.

Current Projects

We are currently working on several projects that aim to empower the Libyan community and contribute to the wider society. Our projects include language classes, cultural exchange programs, community engagement initiatives, and humanitarian efforts. Through these projects, we strive to create opportunities for personal and professional development, enhance social integration, and make a positive impact on the lives of our members and the broader community.

Community Engagement

We believe in the power of community engagement to build strong connections and foster social cohesion. Through various community engagement initiatives, we encourage our members to actively participate in social, cultural, and educational activities. These initiatives create opportunities for networking, collaborating and exchanging of ideas, ultimately strengthening the bonds within our community and promoting a sense of belonging.
